Student Visa, Non-Award Foundation (Subclass 575)
Welcome to Australia Immigration Visa Services. We provide information about
the Temporary Student Visa, Non-Award or Foundation category.
A non-award course is one where there is no formal award at the end of the course.
Such a course might be a bridging course, or a foundation course leading to a further
study program, either in Australia or overseas. Usually these courses are fairly short,
many less than a year.
For this application the visa itself costs only AUD$430,
but you will be required to provide proof to the Australian Immigration
Department that you can pay for your course of study, living expenses,
medical insurance, school fees for your children (if you have a family)
and accommodation costs in Australia. There are also regulations about
your health and evidence required to prove that you are a genuine student.
